After playing a bit and gaining experience, I decided to start the next project: Tekken 5 Yoshimitsu FAQ. I think that it will take me about two months to write since my computer is at home, and I'm coming home only every weekend. This time the FAQ will have a little bit different structure.
- I decided to resign from extensive frame data, focusing on the frames of the most important arts only.
- The strategy section will be a lot more extensive. Yoshimitsu gameplay is all about good strategy! (a strategy for everything: for a certain character, style of play, situation...)
- I'll rebuild juggles and custom strings sections: these areas are totally different as far as Tekken 5.
- I'll try to make the FAQ beginner-friendly
- The "System of Tekken 5 vs Yoshimitsu" section. Is TK system friendly for Yoshi or not, and how to deal with it... system, as always, must be taken into serious consideration.
- Extensive "Wall strats", "Okizeme strats". Yoshi + okizeme + wall = instant death.
- Tips and tricks of Manji arts. Yoshi's traps, mixups...
- Using and linking stances. Importance of keeping proper range. Taking risk.
- Ranking of best Yoshi's moves and detailed analyzis of them.
- VS characters strats.
If you want, I can keep you informed about the progress. :p Of course only if you're interested in it.

I'm interested, lol!

Can't wait for this, good luck Tenshi.
Of course I'll be interested. Way to go, Tenshi, good luck, and don't forget us when your FAQ becomes the best Yoshi T5 FAQ!
Interested? Yep.
Keep up the good work on making a Yoshimitsu FAQ series. Even though I haven't played T5, I've been playing a lot of T4 and want to see how different T5 is.
Am I interested? Does Yoshi like game arcades? ^_^
Keep us informed! I wanna know all.
why don't we help? she doesn't have to do all dirty job alone, we can try to help , don't we? we can mind up new jugles or give a your propositions wnen using best moves to punish opponent's mistake.
sample?:
after throw 2+4 u can do d+1 but the best move when someone lie down is u+1+2,1[when hi tries to get up 1 is best, and again opponent is grounded so this time we can do again u+1+2,1 [it's guaranted and takes more than u+1+2,3

or we can crouch and wait 'till he try to move and fc,DF+3 or WS ,B+1 and he's again on the ground. Yoshimitsu must predict move ,it's like chess.
...
But yes, still we can wait, but why don't we help.hmm?
Thanks for appreciation.

It will surely boost my work up! ^_^ And if you like, any strats or even ideas can be helpful. I'm open to test everything.
In that case, perhaps you can write post-wall hit tactics. Like, what mix-ups do you have after d/b+2,2,2,2,2 hits an opponent on the wall?
First of all, I don't make Yoshi dizzy. Then you have several options but you have to watch your alignment (and tap "f" to align yourself well). Sword Sweep, u+3+4 and DGF are my main tools of destruction. It depends on what my opponent will do... I think you can already imagine this intimidating okizeme. Sometimes my opponent has no chance and end his life near the wall.
All right, today I started the work over my FAQ. The progress is about 10% right now.

Going back to writing...
Yay, thank u.:yes
Btw, I am getting good at yoshi, and I am currently trying to explor the use of d/b+2. However, no matter how close my d/b+2 from opponent, it misses quite frequently. That problem not only stops my mixup purposes, but I also eat a whiff punisher. Bad bad bad...
So if it's possible, could u also write something about d/b+2 usages in ur faq? Because I remembered that u are quite good at d/b+2 setups. Thank you.:)
Also, if u find any of the DGF stuff I write useful, feel free to copy and paste. I don't mind. That is, if any of them happen to be useful. Haha.
Another note. While playing against my friend (Bryan Pitbull), I find myself in the situation where DGF 2 might be useful. Will try to come out with DGF 2 uses later.
That's great!

You can post here anything you think is good.

I'll credit your strats in the FAQ, you can count on me

Your DGF tactics were very useful man, thanks for that.
I have some stuff to contribute about SS attacks (not much though:p,'); don't know if they've been discussed earlier though. Perhaps when I have some more time I'll post it up.
This may be late, but, if you use Manji Spin Kicks, Slap-You_Silly, and Stone Fists and you do make Yoshimitsu dizzy , I will suggust you quickly gain your stance back bu either by a spring kick, Rising Ankle Kick, or a Rising Cross-Chop.
Keep up the great work o fearless leader.
