Making of a grand Yoshimitsu pic

Gattsu :
I just visualised Yoshi holding a wine glass in his left hand.
Hahaha, yeah, this would totally fit! :D
Chiller Yoshi XD

Hope ur exams went well, Koga. Java sucks btw...had to do an exam too...programming only easy stuss the exercises at least!! The exam itself was damn difficult -.-
Writing a fucking program which calculates logarithms wtf !?
I´m studying economics btw.....who came up with that idea...

Anyway, how´s colouring going? Maybe some other members here could try to colour it as well, Pris e.g. is really good at that ^^

I totally second the wine glass theory!!! :D :D :D

And Gattsu, you must've read my mind, lol. :p When I looked at this, I thought I'd like to colour it... I hope you wouldn't mind, Koga-san? I'm just not sure if I'd be able to colour it right away, but I would like to try my hand at it. ^.^

The sketch is real great, both versions - with, and without, the mask. :)

And take it easy with your thumb... ouch... I hope it heals soon. :(

And here we are, first version of the coloured image:

Haven't given up on this piece yet, gonna make another one that's waaaay better than this, but this one gives the idea of what I'm going after.

Weird... it looks a lot better back in Photoshop than in here. What's going on?

Wow!!! It's awesome!!! I love the color scheme and shadowing, nice work Koga!!

that's so yoshi-epic!!!

Cheers people. :)

I've been working on a new way of cleaning up my lineart, hoping to adapt it to my further projects. I got fed up with the messyness of The Blood Ring completely (both visual and story-wise), and quite frankly I'm considering abandoning that for good. I guess I'll toy around with this piece a bit further before releasing the final version.

By the way, what happened to all the people who wanted to colour it, too? :D

Yours cruelly,
~ Kogamitsu

Well....After my attempt at coloring him, I realized that I have no artistic abilities, he just looked terrible, so I figured I would let the artists make the art.... And I think I made the right choice considering your finished product compared to the injustice he endured with me.
