Ok, I checked all the chracter books and it just never says what Yoshimitsu's real first name is.

I mean surly it just can't be just Yoshimitsu ( can it):con

He doesn't have one. People in the Manji Clan drop their Japanese identities and remain anonymous.

Although Yoshimitsu is a real Japanese first name...

But yeah, I'd be willing to bet it's not his birth name. Even so, it's the name he'd likely use to identify himself, since he's been Yoshimitsu for so long.

I think, too, Yoshimitsu is his real name. Although, he might have been called something else in the past, and, due to the advantages of being anonymous, - as the leader of the Manji Clan - changed it.

The Last Samurai - Saigo Takamori (1827-1877) - too had other names, such as Saigo Kochinosuke, before he, in his adult life, changed his name into Saigo Takamori - but although changing his name, his first name still remained!

That reminds me - i do not quite understand why Yoshimitsu's Tech-suit from Tekken 5 represents him as a Samurai when he's, in fact, a ninja?
- It looks good, but it just don't make that much sense to me.
