The creature known as the Predator, or Yautja in its own language, is a bipedal humanoid creature standing approximately 2.5 meters tall.
Yautja society is based on the concept of The Hunt. Whereas humans on earth were agrarian, the yautja never settled down. Their culture revolves around the concept of hunting and stalking prey.
The Predator's behavior is controlled by a code of ethics. This code appears similar to human warrior's codes such as bushido and chivalry in that it promoted bravery, martial skill, and loyalty to the pack. Most yautja will not hunt or attack a creature they consider "weak" or unthreatening. When the yautja encounter the females or young of their prey, they often spare them, considering it dishonorable to shed blood of those who cannot defend themselves.
The Yautja possess technology far beyond that of humans. However, it is unknown whether they created this technology themselves, or obtained it from other species which have had the misfortune to be considered worthy of hunting. This technology includes:

In the shadows of Japanese cities The Syndicate thrives on providing the desperated and the downtrodden with the opiates they need to distract themselves and the weapons they need to kill each other.
Mukade is The Syndicate's most talented black Ninja, specializing in intelligence, subterfuge and assassinations. Ayane, the young and attractive Kunoichi, is Kasumi's half sister and a ninja assassin who is destined to live in the shadow of Kasumi. Expert in ninjutsu, her deadly fighting style has given her the nickname 'Female Tengu'. She joins the Dead or Alive World Combat Championship as an assassin in pursuit of Kasumi. Ayane secretly admires Hayate, Kasumi's older brother.
What does Ayane have in common with Yoshi? Her battle pose looks just like Yoshi's! You would say that all ninja fighters have a similar pose, but in fact this small detail made me think about Yoshi when I saw Ayane first in DOA 3. Then her fighting style: her spins, massive roundhouses and a lot of blows from backturned position also reminded me Yoshimitsu. But her abilities are far from Yoshi's skills, LOL :)

Wormmon was reborn somewhat later, and now has the ability to transform in his second form: Stingmon. Stingmon possesses a strong exosceleton and two pairs of thin wings that enable him to make fly-by attacks using his sharp claws and lethal darts. He also has red hair, speaks with a strange inhuman voice and has a noble spirit.
