SCV Yoshi sux! :((

One more thing I've noticed in SCV:
When Yoshi performs Rainbow Drop on Natsu (fellow ninja and Taki's apprentice) he says, "Baby Natsu... forgive me!"
I wonder how they know each other...

That's interesting.

...

Fanfic time! XD

 D: Never noticed!

Imma go play right now and hear for myself D:

I keep forgetting to buy this game! XD

a little help with soul calibur 5, i cant do propper juggles with yoshimitsu in this game without doing some moves that are so frkn hard to do yet the notations are so simple >.<

the first being "parting thrus" [A, B+K]
and the second being "manji carve fist" 2[A,B]

i cant perform these moves if my life depended on it! HELP!

The timing on those moves specifically is so strict I've also found them basically impossible to do in-game, So I just don't... It's a bit easier with an arcade stick, but I don't play Soul Calibur with a stick so...

I've recently started playing with an arcade stick, and I've found that it actually makes doing certain moves a hell of a lot easier.  I recommend picking one up. :)

I've tried to play with a Stick many times.....n I just can't get use to it bc i grew up on consles and D-pad......But funny note I place my hand on the controller as if i am playing with a stick...palm down.

Those moves have become significantly more difficult to pull off in this game. Luckily they're nowhere near as useful IMO. Parting thrust no longer combos to 66A+B during a juggle, so 6K is still the best juggle ender unfortunately (Note: I could be wrong lol!). Manji Carve Fist can be done more easily with the Brave Edge variation. The 8wayrun.com forums might have some useful pointers though.

YOSHIMOSHI: I'm also a pad user, but I've been holding it palm down with two fingers hovering over the buttons, since I was about 7, playing Primal Rage and Killer Instinct on SNES!

yeh i've been playing it palm down also. I do have a arcade stick at home but i use that for tekken lol.
yeh these moves are so hard to do, i did it ONCE when i spammed [A, B+K] like 100 times in practice mode. yeh the brave edge variation is simple enough :S do-able at least lol.

I want to master yoshi cos yoshi's awesome, but playing SC yoshi kills my Tekken Yoshi skills to the max! >.<" you guys get this too>?! the x button is not block in tekken lol

It took me years to get used to Soul Calibur's guarding but I think I've finally got it! Perseverance :D

I actually experience the exact same thing, in other SC titles I have ignored Yoshi for fear of  confusion with the moveset vs. his Tekken moveset.. It turns out I was right to do so, but, after about a full day of playing one or the other, you will be back to somewhere near the place you left off...

I highly agree his move set is only basic yoshimitsu move and not even the good 1s you cant mix moves well way u have only 3 stream moves 3 basic combos... with his crapy move set i dont even know how he beat yoshimitsu this new guy he's not faster he's not stronger dont have a major mix up and his only defence would of been iron fist but they randomized it (super gay) now you stuck with bearly nothing no defence agains faster ppl bearly get by with ppl with range yoshmitsu is the weakest link in dis game smh it look like i gotta learn devil jin (hate him) and no i dont suck with yoshi im actully the best yoshimitsu player on XBL i never ran across a yoshmitsu that can defeat me yet if you have xbl n wanna try GT: Maddness718

Someone's confident. :P

I still have yet to play as Yoshimitsu II, but I remember having some difficulty in getting used to the whole "block button" thing back when I played SCIV.

Too bad you don't play Tekken Madness...That's where i hold my Yoshimitsu title.
