wow the tekken dudes are nicely translated into the street figher universe but sadly no yoshi at the moment.
I really want them to pull that one off, not because it would be impossiable(he was always a tekken outsite in the first place) perhaps it will prove much more of a challenge to give the street fighers an iron fist.
This is properly the thing that would make me buy a street figher game, its not I say sf games is bad because i haven't really tried one out for real it just doesn't seemed like my taste like many games BTW ^^
and good find angelo its has been time for to return the favor.
A popular choice in Melbourne, particularly for rocking the Tekken 3 gear. Yoshimitsu proved to be the surprise packet of the weekend for one glaring reason; Windmill is incredible. Making up for Yoshimitsu’s poor mobility in spades, Windmill is used to bring the enemy to Yoshimitsu instead of the other way around, having the same suction properties as Seth’s Tanden Engine or Rufus’ EX Galactic Tornado. This effect doesn’t quite reach full screen, but does have considerable real estate. On top of that, the move does unbelievable damage, hitting about as hard as a SPD from Zangief or Hugo. The downside is it’s very unsafe on recovery, putting Yoshi at a frame disadvantage, possibly even on hit. It’s also vulnerable to fireballs, making it a fairly committal option. Combine Windmill with Yoshimitsu’s teleports, a hitbox on his Gehosen anti-air wider than it is tall and good range on his normals in general, and the Tekken staple becomes a deceptively mobile character.
I just knew his crazy moves would play a much bigger role in this game being a street figher game and all, but I'm a bit worried that the rest of the tekken cast would lack a little something incompairson to the SF guys.
Maybe they are aiming for different style from the tekken cast, that would make sence to me to have a gameplay spilt like that since tekken players and Street figher players, aren't having the same play styles so that would make it easier to start up with.
They implemented elements from tekken and gave the tekken characters some flashy stuff like the street fighter cast.
The combo system is now like tekken, u can combo easily just like in tekken, you can launch with every character and attack them a couple of times before they hit the ground.
And just like in street fighter they gave the tekken characters moves with special effects, e.g. yoshimitsu his windmill is like a vortex that pulls people from afar, hwoarang has divekicks, steve can throws fireballs and has counters and raven can throw shurikens, just to name a few.
I don't think the tekken cast is lacking anything I still haven't played the game so I can't give my opinion, but based on the videos I saw, I think the tekken cast is really powerfull.
Lili is godlike in the air, she has a lot of tools when she jumps and kazuya his dash move seems almost invincible.
I just hope the game kicks ass and everyone here in manjikai will love it =)
