Okay, Sum, how the heck did you manage to get a picture of me during a hangover morning?

Nah, just joking. I look a lot scarier during hangover than that little screamer-girl of yours. :D

Guess who just did a guru move!? Me, baby! Das was ich! I've just got one of my dearest childhood games to work on Win7 - Tomb Raider II (1997). Doggone, people, I was only 9 at the time! And I still finish the levels with the "I think I needed to go here... I think there were enemies here..." -feeling!

I think I'm rather moved... so I'll move on to the next levels. One of my favourites is on now, the Opera House. So dark and gloomy, filled with traps and other hazards... Back then, I was scared. Now, I'm thrilled.

Hey, people - what games did you play when you were kids? I'll tell you about my Amiga 500 / NES -adventures later. :)

Edit:
By the by, to everyone thinking of saying "Oh, yes, I've played "Tomb Raider: Anniversary", it's the same thing, innit?" I say, "Aw, heck no it ain't!" - fair enough, Anniversary is a very, very interesting and intriguing (and excellent) remake of TR1, but there's nothing - nothing - in comparison to the enemies of old school of Tomb Raiders, when you actually scream "Hey! That hurts!" in the midst of the game. B)

I think I'll actually stick on Tekken 3 after reaching the underwater levels. I feel rather... nostalgic? (Oi, British/American members, how is it spelt, really?)

It all started with my SNES:
- super mario world
- super bomberman world
- Super Double Dragon
- super street fighter 2
and super mario all star were the games I played most on my SNES

on my PSX my very first games were Crash Bandicoot, tomb raider 1 ( 2 and 3) , Final Fantasy 7,8 and 9, Digimon World and Tekken (2,3).
n64 : mario kart, mario 64, donkey kong 64 and mario part 1
GC : smash bros melee, sonic adventure 2 battle
PS2 : Final Fantasy X , kingdom hearts and some kof, sf games.

I'm not going to talk about my xbox, 360 and ps3, cuz that's not part of my childhood anymore lol

Nostalgic is right Koga. :) I love nostalgia. Everything old beats every new and 'cool' to me. :P

The console of my childhood WAS the AMIGA 500! Amiga is my baby. Everyday I'd come home from school and play with her for hours.

I don't have much a fancy list of games. I pretty much played whatever my parents gave me. My best and favourites are:

Dynablaster (AKA Bomberman), Revenge of the mutant camels, Superfrog, Zool, Theme park, Silly putty, Jaguar XJ220, Bryan the lion and The Simpson Attack of space mutants

Then we moved into B&B and other places... Moving house was chaos. I wasn't able to play Amiga for 4 years!

To stop me going insane with boredom, mum bought me a TvBoy which is basically a little games machine filled with 100's of Atari 2600 games. My fave games are: Fast food,Draughts,The sharks and birds of prey.

I never had a Sega or Super Nintendo in my childhood. Despite every single one of my friends having one. As soon as I was able to earn money, (about 6-10 years later) I bought them. I needed to experience what I missed. I got a little obsessed and it turned me into the massive computer games and console collector I am now. :)

Okay guys how do you introduce totally newcomes to tekken because I found two people the first is interested and seems to be a quick learner as he was able to pick up a juggle with yoshi on the first day d/f+4 1,1 B! b+2,1 what is much more than I expected but I don't know with other one.

The thing is that I will try my best to help newcomes to learn tekken and maybe find myself a strong locial player or aleast cable of destorying me.

you will get the feeling that no one in denmark have got a clue about playing the game, and because they can a 10 hit combo they are above average its disapointing really.

I have helped others before with my basic tekken knowledge, infact my only really challenging battles are with people whom I have guided but at that time I haven't got a clue about frames, juggling, buffering and punishing besides blocking a low sweep and hit back with a WS 4. Its pain really because I want so badly to have a local tekken buddy that is able to beat over and over instead of me doing that.

before I joined up here I wasn't much better than the typical dane beside for some tiny hints and the thing is that I'm great or anything but people seems to lack so much knowledge it weird so please help me to form some proper tekken player(s) and let this danish curse go away

hey you're not the only one suffering bro..

I serached later today to find arcades around my place but its seems like theres only retro games to find and I'm not even sure that we have tekken 6 arcade machines in danmark but I found a tekken 3 machinee . I guess the closest thing I can get is buying a stick then :/

the only T6 arcades in europe are in London, Trocadero "namco station" i think :(

Trocadero and Namco Station are two different places. Namco station only has T5dr

Hey everyone. I'm not feeling so good. :-( I know it's for a dumb reason, but I can't shake this negative feeling.

I've been going to this website- a forum- for years now. I've always tried to be nice, and for the most part, I've gotten along with everyone pretty well.

But lately, they've been real jerks to me. I don't really know why, but they've been picking on me recently. It's not all of them, and I know it's silly to let something so trivial as an internet website get me down, but I don't think it's irrational for someone to want to go to a site that's fun and makes them feel good... or something. :P

All I'm saying is that I'm not going to that site anymore, and that I've always had a great online foruming exprience here at Manjikai.

You guys rock! :D

For a second there I thought you were leaving THIS site, and I'm like nooo T~T

Glad to hear you left though, you don't deserve to be treated that way :P loser jerks on those forums need to get their ass kicked

LOL! Now that I read my post again, it does kind of sound like I'm talking about this site for a bit. :P No way! This site is AWESOME!

I'm just kind of disappointed in that other site, you know? I've been going to that site for more than 6 years now, and I can't understand why they suddenly started treated me badly. Oh well; this site is MUCH better. :D

Boy, am I feeling a lot better. I got to sleep in since I have a late flight today (I fly on military aircraft). After I woke up, I read my favorite girly magazine (shamelessly ^,~) and made quite the yummy breakfast (scrambled eggs with havarti cheese and spinach, breakfast potatoes with parsley and garlic, and a buttered English muffin). Now I just get to putz around until I have to leave for my flight.

I think I'm going to take the longest shower in the world and play some Tekken. ^___________^

yay! You're not depressed anymore :D
It's good to read you've got your great spirit back ^^

Yeah, I feel great, thanks! :D

Although, I am a bit nervous about my flight today. We go to pretty high altitudes, and my ears are feeling a bit weird today. It feels like there's built-up pressure in them. I hope they don't start to hurt from the pressure change.

Oh well; we'll see how it goes. :)

My bro just joined the local TA.. He might become a cadet. :/ What is the other site? You could pm me if don't want to mention it here. I'll join and have a look at the general cult moral.

No, don't bother. It's done. :D

But anyway, my flight went GREAT! ^,^
