What is your favorite tekken character

Now I know everyone here likes yoshimitsu but sometimes he isn't your absolute favorite (some times he is). Maybe you just really like Jun or Hehachi, well thats what i'm asking Who is your absolute favorite charicterof the Tekken Series?

I'll be the first one to create an altar to Yoshimitsu and worship him there ^_^

Okay, more seriously speaking. My absolute favorite is Yoshimitsu, but there are many incredible characters beside him. As I have mentioned, my default Tag Team is Yoshimitsu and Kunimitsu, so Kuni is naturally my 2nd favorite. Other characters worth mentioning are Hwoarang (effective kicks!), Ling Xiaoyu (fast as a greased lighting!) and Nina Williams (many stunning moves).

In this order:
1. Yoshimitsu
2. Kunimitsu
3. Lee Chaolan
4. Armor King
5. Raven
Possible #6: Feng Wei

The first four have been my favs since the first Tekken and I've mastered them all. Raven, being a ninja, is naturally thrown into the mix, but Feng Wei is a bad-ass new character who intruiges me as well.

Absolute favorite without equal: Yoshi-"the man"-mitsu.

I like play Eddy ,Hwo,Ling,Heihachi, but Hwo is on the first place. Thanks to Tenshi I begun to play Yoshi... :)

when i first played i like playing as jin because he had strong attack fairly easy combos and strong, simiple to hit specials. but i like playing must of the time as 1)hehachi 2)jin 3)yoshi 4)brian 5)gon 6)king "if i can laid his chain grapple"

i also like playing as julia. she has some sweet grapples, specials, and she's hot

needless to say, Heihachi is my favorite Charicter. He has powerful Special Moves, and his Ten String Combos. so he is my first my second is yoshi followed closely by brian due to his fast and powerful combos.

I'd have to go with this order as of now.

1. Kunimitsu
2. Bryan Fury
3. Yoshimitsu
4. Roger
5. Prototype Jack

Yoshimitsu keeps falling on my list... It's not that I don't find him cool, its just that I am frustrated with how he seems to get worse with each new iteration of Tekken. He needs a massive overhaul next time. :(

Hehe...
My favourites are:

1. Yoshimitsu
2. Huh... Yoshimitsu?
3. Yoshimitsu!
(....)
386. Kunimitsu
387. Dr Boskonovitch
388. Kazuya Mishima
389. Ogre(s)

Hmmmmmmm... let's remember... :)

1. A ninja who jumps around with his lighting sword (you probably don't know who he is, nevermind)
2. Heihachi Mishima (pure power in this killing machine)
3. Jin Kazama (The Tekken 3/TTT version, to be precise. Overpowered but great)

Those three are my favourites. All the others can be treated as fourth on my list (except Gon).

I like to experiment with characters so I have different periods in gameplay: King's multi-throw period, Law's cheese period :), Paul's crushing period, Lei's stances period, Ogre's "I'm gonna kill you no matter what" period etc. :) I like to experiment, but Yoshi, Hei and Jin will always remain as my favourites. :)

Yea the powerhouse charicters are always the ones i end up with:). for example take a Large, Powerful, & Slow Charicter, learn their move list by heart, learn to effectivly block and attack in reppitition and your set. you can take Kuma learn his moves and be victorious 9/10ths of the time because you have good stratagies:D. thats why i like Heihachi. he is strong, and can put a dent in anyone's life bar before they know what hit them.:p

Hehehe... you got it :) But I wouldn't bet on that with Kuma... Hei's strong and fast, Kuma's fast and slow. :) And slowness is one of major disadvantages of Tekken character when they're playing against, say, Yoshi. :)

Dinaga : Hehehe... you got it :) But I wouldn't bet on that with Kuma... Hei's strong and fast, Kuma's fast and slow. :) And slowness is one of major disadvantages of Tekken character when they're playing against, say, Yoshi. :)

But is it just me, or has Yoshi gotten slower since Tag? It seems like he was the absolute shit back in the TTT days, but now he has gotten dumbed down somewhat. I will also never forgive Namco for making his dreaded Flash less effective. :((

My favs:

1. Yoshi
2. Christie
3. Kazuya
4. King
5. True Ogre

:D

Raven : But is it just me, or has Yoshi gotten slower since Tag? It seems like he was the absolute shit back in the TTT days, but now he has gotten dumbed down somewhat. I will also never forgive Namco for making his dreaded Flash less effective. :((

You know that I have the same impression...? It's but not his lack of speed... it's his plenty of disadvantages as for blocking and whiffing a move. In Tekken 5 doing unneccessary moves just DOESN'T count. And I don't have to say that this was the fun with Yoshi: fox-stepping, dancing, doing silly thingies to encourage... In tekken 5: "Move not in time: you're dead".

That's the point! Yoshi, Lei, Ling and other stance characters that love dancing just can't live there the way they lived before.

Raven : But is it just me, or has Yoshi gotten slower since Tag? It seems like he was the absolute shit back in the TTT days, but now he has gotten dumbed down somewhat. I will also never forgive Namco for making his dreaded Flash less effective. :((

Actually, whenever I praise Yoshi, consider that I praise his T3/TTT version, because the T4 version SUCKS. :)
