Yoshi sound bites?

I'm wondering where the hell I can find some Yoshimitsu sound clips. I wanted to use his feign sound or his victory sound (not sure what to call it, that bit of Japanese? he says after a match) as my SMS notification (preferably the latter) on my phone. Nerdy, I know.

If anyone can help me out, that'd be awesome!

I wrote this huge message then it suddenly occured to me that there are mp3's right here on this site! lol. SumSamurai submitted them so maybe you need to speak to her!

Best of luck to ya!

"Honmatsu tentou." (spelling?) but I say when I lose: (I-Tripped-on-my-toe!) My wins: (Shikisok-Achuuuu!) :D

Hey! Why would you want the sound for yoshi being hurt? ..Pls don't answer that.

Only YOT members can access sounds. You'll need to apply for it in 'introductions'

I'm talking about the sound bit he says after winning a match in Tekken 5. He sits down indian-style as he says it. I didn't know he was talking about getting hurt, LOL. I just thought it sounds badass and would be cool to have on my phone.

Do I need a certain number of posts to apply or anything? Or do I just put my reasons in that thread?

Oh, well if that's the sound you want then no, he's not hurt, he's actually sort of being obnoxious if it's the bit I think you mean. Just be aware that everytime your phone goes off in a public place all the Japanese people will think your saying 'damn I'm good' or words to that effect! Could be a lot worse though. lol

Yup! Write why you want in YOT member applications.
Try this to make yoshi boast in your game: d+3+4,3+4~4,2 It could be wrong, I don't know frame data very well, and I lost very important page for frame data symbols/references..:cry

*Imagines the ringing phone situation* LOL OMG that's sooo funny!

Yup! It could be a lot worse. :) *Cough* Yoshi Swears *Cough* :D

Well, as much as you can consider Japanese words as swearing. 'Oh you, you, really not very nice person, you!' lol. But actually, even though they don't have 'curse words' as such, they can still, by how they say it rather than what they say, be very, cuttingly offensive. And yes, Yoshi seems to have a gift for using the noble language of Japan obscenely! He makes me giggle.

What ? Japanese can´t swear "right" ? That´s not the case.
Examples:

Baka yaro stupid bastard
Ketsunoana u asshole!
Kisama actually "you", but used as "bastard!"
Ama bitch! :D
Mocca-Mocca Su Su, Fuck you
or Kutabare or
Zakennayo
Hara guzuchi o tataku na Shut the fuck up
....
...
..
.

Sorry to use these words here :blush
...eehh.... just wanted to "inform" you

I'm saving these to my list of foreign swear-words. I may never use them, but I can giggle childishly dreaming up a situation.:p

I might even make a fan art of Yoshi in a cursing fit! Rubbing his bruised bottom and with other hand shaking his fist, while insulting a tree he fell out maybe. " Useless ********* ****** ***** Tree! **** rotten ******* to the core!"

Really elaborate.:D   ...Nah.

Ah you see, Japanese does not really translate directly into English which is why you get people saying stuff like 'it means something like...' and 'it sort of means...' and, 'well it doesn;t really translate but...'

For example, 'yarou' means nothing more than 'rascel' or 'naughty person' but in anime it's translated into a curse word to give the viewer the same sense of emotion that the speaker intended.

'ama' just means 'nun' but it has been made into a nasty name to call a woman. It has nothing to do with female dogs though.

'busu' (was that on your list?) could be considered a swear word as it never means anything nice. It means an ugly woman (I think originally an ugly geisha? Anyone know?)

And you already mentioned that kisama is nothing more than an ironic way of saying 'you'.

lol, honest, they really don't have 'taboo' words the way they do in English. My Japanese friends simply use our words!!! I have this one friend who uses the 'f' word like its punctuation and she loves doing rude hand gestures. She's ace!
