Yoshimitsu had no sword?

It could be a premonition? A yoshi without sword, then he had passed it to another member of the manji clan, one between yoshi and brian have to die, and then one of this will not return in tekken 6... good bye yoshi?

No way! Tekken without Yoshimitsu is like jumping into an old well: BAD IDEA.

Long time ago programmers said that :Yoshimitsu will be in ewery part of tekken and hi will always look different: ,so We shouldn't be worried. That means one: BRYAN IS DEAD[ or programmers will mind up other stupid reason...]

Maybe there'll not be a Tekken 6...:dozingoff

kidding :)

yme : That means one: BRYAN IS DEAD
Ain't he dead already? :p
My supposing is, that if Namco would take out Yoshi - even from one Tekken - the number of players will decrease. He's a trademark; the game would feel incomplete without him. I really can imagine someone playing Tekken 6, and after a while he/she would exclaim, "Okay, now where the h*ll is Yoshimitsu?!", even though he/she wouldn't have favorited Yoshi in the first place.

And even if Bryan's ending would come to pass... didn't someone say that before the "final blow", the screen goes black and *then* we hear a gunfire? When screen goes black, everything is possible. (Okay, a bit wishful thinking, but still...)

Namco is very good at changing stories from the game's endings to suit their newest Tekken installment. Take Kazuya, for example: Didn't he die twice? And Bruce? And Beak? And.. the list goes on.

So, if Namco wants Bryan in Tekken 6, then he will be there. Not matter what his ending in Tekken 5 was. They simply say that: A) Yoshi spared his life, or B) Bryan was not mortally wounded and got away.

Anyway, to come back at the threat's main topic:

Yoshimitsu's armor isn't the same from T4. Maybe the stealth feature meant the armor had to sacrefice it's bullitproof layers. Or maybe Bryan hit him on an unprotected area of Yo's body (neck, legs, arm?)
And well,...I have NO idea why he doesn't have a sword while jumping. Probably a screw-up.

sorry for just barging into the forum like this, but I could not help being interested. I actually overlooked all of this upon seeing fury's ending. I think that yoshi will still be in tekken 6 and yes there definetely will be a tekken 6. though i was totally convinced that yoshi was a dead man in bry's ending. I really think though that NAMCO is going to make it a matter of whos ending occured first. so if yoshi happened first then bryan was blown to smitherenes. if bry's happaned first then i think yoshi will still be alive because the sparks coming from is armor probably mean that he was only weakened and the armour saved him. its just so easy to picture yourself in the future reading the character profiles and seeing yoshi's say. " after being shot 5 times yoshimitsu lay stunned on the ground and as bryann walked away with his back turned yoshimitsu recovered and stabbed him fiercly in the back sending his blade straight through his heart." this is just my idea though

Intresting stuff...

A question; why do the makers of tekken always pull punches? I mean, you can't keep lying to the fans out there! Kazuya is freakin' immortal from what we've seen; and what do you call this!:

Raven: Heihachi MIshima...is dead. Lo and behold there the old man is, ready to fight. I am welcoming your opinions.

Interesting... but if there is Tekken 6, I'm 101% sure Yoshi'll be there, because he's one of Tekken's trade marks, just like Heihachi, for example. He's been there since the first Tekken game, it would be stupid of Namco to remove him after so many years and lose so many fans just because of a dumb character like Bryan, who appeared a lot later than Yoshi.

And of course, he's not the half as interesting as Yoshi, so Namco would lose on originality if they decided to kill Yoshi.

But anyway, Kazuya was dead and he came back, so I guess everything is possible.

Maybe we'll see the other side of the story; Brian's demise! What would Tekken lose with Brian's death? Nothing interesting. Let's face it: Brian's story is about as interesting as, say, Kuma's.:p

For Yoshi without the sword, its probably because he dropped it when Bryan attacked him at the tree.

Tenshimitsu : Myself I felt content seeing Kazuya kicking the *** off Raven. :P But in that Bryan ending that was Bryan who was a coward, hunting defenceless Yoshi with a minigun. :)

LOL:D I just got Tekken 5 today and I love it! I've customized Hwoarang and put a guitar on his back! Also, Tenshi, how can you call that gun MINI? It's HUGE:p

Mini- is the name of the gun doofus!

Your name is very appropriate.

Manji clan member : Mini- is the name of the gun doofus!

Your name is very appropriate.

Hey, that's not a nice thing to say... and by the way, sorry, i was thinking of Yoshimitsu's Tekken 5 ending where Bryan has the big Gatling gun.
