TEKKEN 6

Fastlegs: What I meant to say was that Yoshi has _never_ been the first choice for beginners. You won't get away with Yoshi by smashing random buttons. And what I meant with "Yoshi tossing Jin around 900 - 0" is just my way of expressing my loathing towards Jin (or any Kazama/Mishima). He may be a top-tier, but Yoshi's higher in the food chain (at least in my opinion).

Jin vs. Yoshi = one Kazama less :yes

Thanks for getting my hopes up!

I thought I was going to have easy time getting Yoshi upto Tekken lord this year.:D (jokes)

it's ture you can't be a button masher with Yoshi tho, his commend list make's sure off that, I mean no button basher is going to get away with u/f+3 into some random combo and that's a grantee:yes.

I don't think there is going to be such thing as Top tier and low tier crap come T6, so now no one is higher on the food chain everyone should be even, that's one mistake Namco have relised from DR I would have thought, can someone prove me right on that please, if possible.

but it is ture tho since Yoshi has got a sword and we all know that ninja's are better then Evil, Yoshi does get it every time.:yes

TEKKENbrother : So if Yoshi will have a new style his old style(as his sword) will be of Kunimitsu...or no?

I hope not. I'm hoping they give Kuni, somewhat a new move list.
For yoshi, I'm hoping they make him have all his old moves and new moves, but you have to change stances from old (one sword) to new (two swords). Also, lets hope that when you get hit, it doesn't put you into default stance which is really annoying.

Kuni by a new style(different from our old Yo) would be very good:D

Clar, i agree with you about stance teory...for this new Yo i hope a FLEA stance on one sword and by the other sword hit opponent stay still in stance:D

As you see Jin changing his style and the return of Deviljin... we might expect a complete change of style for Yoshi and return of Kunimitsu.

He might still have his trademark attacks, but as for the rest, it's a big "don't know". I predict that it might have something to do with his "double sword" stance. He might not be able to defend in this stance (handling both swords: with what to block? legs? :P), but he might be able to use flash.

But these are only my predictions. I wonder if they keep his spins...

I don't think they would tottaly revamp Yoshi like they did with Jin in T4.

I think some of his moves will stay intact, it's just that most of his moves will have to go due to his new stance.

so expect to still see one or two favorites come T6.:)

Tenshimitsu : ...
But these are only my predictions. I wonder if they keep his spins...

Oh no doubt. They'd better leave his spins alone. I'd say those are his signature moves. I'd be damn angry if they took them away.

Tenshimitsu : As you see Jin changing his style and the return of Deviljin... we might expect a complete change of style for Yoshi and return of Kunimitsu.
I'm still a little curious about the motive of Kunimitsu's return. She's been AWOL since Tekken 2, so she'd need one helluva reason to make a comeback. And since Yoshi's sword is losing power, that can't be the case.
Maybe she misses him? :D

Tenshimitsu : He might not be able to defend in this stance (handling both swords: with what to block? legs? :P)
What's the best way to block an attack? Chop the attacking member of body away! :) I think Yoshi handling two swords might have Soul Calibur'ish way of blocking. I'd like Tekken to have SC's impact block, by the way. That'd be awesome.
Any word on the stories of the rest of the characters? (*cough*Bryan*cough*) :D

Let us remember we are talking about namco here. Kuni's reason to return might either be good or "namcoish", but the main thing is that she would BE in T6.

@ Koga: how much more do you want tekken 6 to be soul claibur like? tekken is ment to be a fighting game of it's own, not taken after other games.

the weapon thing I'm all cool with, but now you want more soul claiber into tekken.:con

that's just not right:no.

@Kamikaze: knowing Namco, they will come up with something good for Kuni to come back, I have a little fatih in them.:)

It would be cool to see a daughter, one who just happens to also be Yoshimitsu's daughter which he was not aware of. :love That or one who was watching him kill mommy at a very young age. But knowing Namco, if it ever did happen it would probably involve cryo freezing to explain the 20 year gap.

A love child? But how? Either way it would be fun to have yoshi's daughter, then that way, if she has no mask, we could have more clues tas to waht yoshi looks like, will they resemble in anyway?

Well, a love child can come at any time. By some means her mom could die in the outside world and she could blame Yoshimitsu for her death. But that won't happen, I am only thinking up things off the top of my head.

Actually, a love child only comes when one has been, shall we say, sleeping around. I'm not sure Yoshimitsu's that type, even if he still has enough human parts left for that function.

Peace,
Tora

I beg to disagree :)
I would be in extremo surprised if Yoshi didn't have any offspring. If the sword passes from father to son (or daughter), why would Yoshi want to break the circle? And according to the storyline, the sword really does seem to run in family.

The guy isn't a robot you know. :p
