The blood ring comics

I get to see them on DevART all the time! I really look forward to the next one.

Hehe, you get to see all the "extra stuff" regarding the whole project, too! :D

BTW, good to see ya here again.

Oh my goodness. This is just sweet, Koga'! :D
How'd you come up with the idea for this story in the first place? Like what inspired you?
I must praise you for your ideas. It's always interesting to read about people thoughts and ideas about something. And good skills in drawing aswell. They're not perfect, but they're really good! When you lay your eyes on a picture, you're not in doubt about whats drawn, and thats much more than i'm capable of!
Your story itself is also very interesting. It's nothing i've emagined from those two Tekken characters, though. But, hence a little beside what i've had in mind, it's still unique. It's your universe, your own thoughts and vision.
All though, there is some events, behaviors and actions which, in my opinion, resists the actual characteristics of the Tekken characters.
- But, of course, then again; It's your story and hence your thoughts and ideas which rule and determines, and of course which makes it unique and exciting to read. :)

For now, i'm only waiting for more pages to come.

Keep it up, Koga' - and keep your wonderful ideas and images coming.

Regards,
The Unknown

Ps.
I've saved all of the story to my hard drive. I'll, of course, delete it all if you're not happy about this. :)

No, I do not mind at all. :)
The story came from... well, actually, even though many disagree with me, I find the resemblance between Yoshimitsu and Bryan very fascinating (but I'll leave that to that, since I've been through this conversation already too many times...). In my eyes, they have many similar characteristics, such as their determination (different goals, though), mechanization/cyborgification (how is it written?) and the fact that, in to some extent, they're both nuts. Yoshimitsu, however, binds himself with the codes of conduct (something Bryan lifts his middle finger at). But more than anything else, I see them both as humans. That is why I try to point out the more "softer" side of Bryan and the more "aggressive" side of Yoshimitsu.

I would be interested in hearing out what actions do you mean. :)
What I like most about fanfiction and fancomics, that I have full control over what happens. It's like running your own little world, and when the page/chapter is done, you return back to reality and to math homework.

Don't get me wrong here. As i said later on; "It's your story and hence your thoughts and ideas which rule and determines, and of course which makes it unique and exciting to read."
- Nothing but your ideas is relevant - else it wouldn't be your story, right?

Aah. I saw this one coming! :D
Well, i'm not really sure if it's exactly the actions. It's smaller things i nocited. Nothing which plays a larger role.
But for instance;

Quote: "I understood nothing they said. But i heard a name now and then"
- As far as i've understood, Bryan do talk japanese and hence sould be able to understand them. (refeering to when Yoshi meets Bryan before the fight in Tekken 5: Story Mode, he replies when Yoshimitsu talks to him in japanese, does he not?)

But, again, it doesn't really matter if it's not excatly "after the book". It's, as i've said (and repeated) your story and hence your choice - regardless of mine or any others ideas of "how it should be".

End of line is, that i think it, indeed, is a nice story! No doubt. :)

And as for the Bryan similar to Yoshimitsu discussion, i'm unfortunate to say that i, too, disagree. They may have certain points you can put your finger on and say "they're alike", but at a larger perspective, they're no more alike than night orday in my opinion.
Bryan is too much of a psycopathic, sadictic, bloodlusty freak on a frenzy for him to be anything like Yoshimitsu, which has dedicated his life to help people. Sure Yoshi' believes in revenge, but who wouldn't under the same cercumstances? Rather than the alternative of turning the other cheek.
- Claiming that Bryan is similar to Yoshi would, in my opinion, be no diffrent from claiming day is similar to night. But of course, thats just my opinion.

Whee, forgot to add the "I agree"-part. :)

On the contrary, I'd venture to say. When Yoshimitsu says (according to the subtitles,'); "Scoundrel! I've found you at last!" or something like that, he actually says something like; "A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity (to kick your ass, etc.)!" The subtitles hardly ever give the correct translation. I think Bryan kind of guessed what he was saying. But, recall, in Tekken 4 Jin and Hwoarang spoke English when speaking to each other, in Tekken 5 Hwoarang speaks Korean to Jin, and Jin speaks Japanese to Hwoarang. I prefer the idea that Bryan abso-posi-you betta believe it has no idea what Yoshimitsu actually said. (it also gives me free hands to make some comic relief in the story) :D

Sorry, I refuse to return to this subject. I've argued about it enough.
EDIT:
The next update will arrive next Tuesday. I'll upload about four or five pages (I became creative! :)), where Bryan and Yoshi get "back to business", as they say. :D

Well, well :) Yoshimitsu being angry is sweet, I like him very much :) I wonder what's the story with Kogamitsu's mother... was she killed by Bryan? Unlikely...

Also, I agree with Koga: people (and animals!) speaking to each other in Tekken in own languages (LOL goes for Kuma, Roger, Mokujin! X_X) is quite ridiculous... on the other hand, Yoshimitsu for sure knows other languages (like English?)... I would love to hear him in Tekken speaking English with kinda Japanese pronunciation. :)

Sweet! :D

"Hai, Yoshimitsu understand perfect. Problem with Bryan, bad attitude. No such thing as bad student, only bad teacher." :D

Guess who's been watching Karate Kid lately. :)

EDIT:
Pages 77 - 81 uploaded.

What is the meaning of this! Bad time to pause the story, dudet! C'mon, Koga! What happens next! I must know! I NEED to know! :((

Yup... you know that in order to gather full attention of Yoshi fans, you have to hurt him in the story ^^

But beware, don't get too deep in this! :D You're surrounded by fanatics! :p

Had an expression on my face - very similar to Bryan's in the last panel. :dontgetit

EDIT:
I'll be updating the next two pages tomorrow. I wonder if I'm getting banned for this... :D

Hmm... he would lose consciousness so fast? :) anyway.

Yoshimitsu isn't that thin! O_O :D He has a proper build, considering his height.

I'm very curious what happens next. You won't be banned... yet :wink

EDIT :)

No you're reading my mind? ^^ I noticed that you named your weapon (one piece of it) Shirokami.
Hmm, it should be rather shirogami. Shiro has "long o", am I right? It gives more sound to the next "k", and so we have "g".

Shirogami is a character from my long-unpublished fan fiction... maybe I'll draw a comic about it?... Anyway, Yoshimitsu in my comic isn't that good, either :)

I pondered upon the loss of consciousness for a while, too. You see, a few years ago I was in a judo competition and I managed to win my opponent with an O-Uchi-Gari (if you know the throw...:)) worth an Ippon - a straight victory. But, unfortunately the opponent had tucked her legs, so I landed on her knee. It crushed my rib bones for good, and it hurt so much I lost consciousness for some time, too.

I can't even imagine how it'd feel to get my side torn open. It must hurt a lot more than crushing of the rib bones, so...

Anyway, if you don't buy my explanation, blame the curse. :D

Tenshi, you must be referring to Kogamitsu's kunais (I remember mentioning my nick is a rip-off from her name :satisfied). They originally had Finnish names; "Valon jumala" and "Pimeyden jumala", meaning the gods of Light and Darkness. I just tried hastly translating them in Japanese. :D

Edit:
About Yoshi being skinny - well, I can't help it much. Bryan keeps wondering many things I (and Jyri, the muse of the Blood Ring) wonder about Yoshimitsu, too. In some pics he looks definitely an anorexic, especially when trying to count out the armory around his waist.

*Put on a song while he/it waits;
"I count the minutes, i count the hooooours, i count the seconds..."* :D

Page 85 uploaded, next update coming 8th day.

How long you've been counting already, u-DNA? :D
