#1 2010-07-27 01:02 I'm thrilled and blown out of my mind to see this announcement
anyways it's officially announced that these games r being developed and that the tekken cast will fight the street fighter cast in street fighter 4 mechanics and in tekken mechanics. Street fighter X tekken will be in the SF4 mechanics ( quarter circle, shoryukens, hadoukens, supers )and Tekken X Street fighter will be in tekken mechanics (combo's, 10 hit-combo's , juggle, (bound?) ) anyways there's already a trailer for SF X tekken and a gameplay. trailer : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sm5-fj2caTw&feature=related gameplay Ryu and Chun li vs Kazuya and Ninja in a tag battle I believe : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6U7jZ-qMfI&feature=related I personally think it's easier to adapt tekken characters and their move set into the street fighter world but not vice versa... so what do you guys think? Will our great beloved Yoshimitsu even be in this game ? ( he probably will since he's the most awesome character in tekken) and if he's really in the game, what kind of moves will he have in street fighter? #2 2010-07-27 12:53 I´m very sceptical about the street fighter charactors with tekken game play... I mean think about all those weird dragonball attacks and some people complaned about Devil Jins and his laser beams, but I think the other game would be wroth a try for sure just look at the intro No Jin take that you stupid kazuya clone :)).
Yoshi sure why not he so freaking nuts its hard to believe he´s from tekken at times. In my Oppion they should proplerly take the classic tekken T3 even though I like T2 yoshi more but the other is by many the one but either way it would be cool to see in the game. Supers his back throw, Clonimtsu Can´t remember the name but TZ call it that Long range attacks Solar Shark Attack, Moonsault slayer Stance his old basic one |

#6 2010-08-05 10:19 Well, sorry I am late. Basically, when I first heard this news I was like 'Noooo... this is a terrible idea, it will never work.' I mean, imagine controlling Yoshi on the Street Fighter style game. It's hard enough for me to change between Tekken and Soul Caliber Yoshi's.
Then I have thought about it a little more and I guess it's not a bad idea as a bit of fun. I doubt it will be a hugely popular game though, I see it more as a gimmick. Well, we had Alien vs Predator and Freddy vs Jason (they rejected my idea for The Hulk vs King Kong for some reason, never mind...:D) you can even find sonic and mario in games together these days. So yeah, it's an interesting idea and something to look forward to. |
