Hello;
It might seem that YOT is experiencing some kind of downtime. However, the community is You - and so it's only up to you to maintain the activity. Anyways, I'm glad that the shoutbox is more in use. Also, if you have any technical problems with anything on the site, drop me a PM.
As the title says, the changes are coming. Just the situation I'm experiencing needs stabilization. I'm currently searching for a job, while not even having finished my studies completely - a final exam still awaits.
What is coming is a reward system for forum posts and submitted pages, a new Control Panel, another re-arrangement of site content, and a new skin. I'll do my best to add even more functionality as well - e.g. forum posts notifications and better navigation.
What is going out? Weblogs most probably. They're not updated regularly anyways. However, members who contributed a lot in weblogs will have their new, personal weblog category created (which mechanics will be based on regular page system).

Yup, I decided to make the YOT Articles be YOT Members-only again. And yes, this decision was triggered by the last Tekkenpedia actions...
This way we're sure that Yoshimitsu mysteries won't be shamelessly stolen again and used to elevate somebody's site traffic. They're too precious for this fate...
These are not the only changes I plan... but all in the right time. I'm now too busy for more.

Well, here it is: the new skin. I called it "YOT retro" because of the colours (sepia, like in old photos...) and Yoshimitsu from Tekken 3 all over the place But... as if it was the taste of things to come: Yoshi wields two swords. Just like he will in Tekken 6. So it's a kind of symbolical theme, of Yoshi's never-ending progress.
As for the functionality of the site...
1. You can see the YOT Events Calendar on your right. It displays recent pages, forum posts, birthdays and news. As for me, this is a big "wow"
2. I decided to add the basic navigation tree again that is being displayed once you enter a Category or an Article.
3. In your Profile view, you can see who visited your profile recently. But as for Profile, it will be massively rebuilt in the nearest future.
What is else to do? A rebuild of Manji Dojo. I already removed the Wiki feature (no one used it anyway), and i'll change the structure of categories there. And soon, add a lot of articles.

The new skin is almost ready It's highly possible you'll see it tomorrow... it needs only final testing and tweaks.
Unfortunately, due to major engine changes, the current skin will be deleted. Enjoy it until it's here :P
